Time Domain Reflectometer The Tektronix 1503B Time Domain Reflectometer generates a 1/2 sine pulse, with selectable pulse widths of 2, 10, 100 or 1000 ns. the high-resolution 2 ns plse permits the identification of multiple cable faults as close together as one foot. Range of the 1503B Cable Tester, dependent upon cable type, is up to 50,000 feet. For most TDR applications, where determining distance to an impedance change is the key measurement, the 1503B is the best choise.
